WYLD PREP QUESTIONNAIRE
Congrats this is the first step to taking the LEAP towards your dream reality! This questionnaire will give you a brief understanding of where you are at, where you want to go and how dedicated you are in making that happen. Be honest with yourself and freely write. This will give me a better sense of who you are and how the Mentorship can support you and your unique needs.
No matter where you are at, it's the perfect place to be- this is the fun part, you get to dream and envision your goals and ideal reality. Answer these questions without judgment, or worrying about it being perfect or comparing it to other people or brands, this is your unique reality and I promise it will evolve over time. Enjoy taking the first step towards your goal!
Putting an actual pen to paper will help with this exercise, it allows thoughts, ideas and emotions to just roll onto the paper rather than our perfectionism coming out while we try to curate the perfect answer or document. There is no right or wrong answer to these!
1. What does your ideal day look like?
(Describe a full day, start to finish of what your best day looks like, personally and professionally)
2. Name 10 tasks you absolutely love doing in a job or day-to-day life.
(Tasks that don’t even feel like work to you, come second nature to you, you could get lost in them for hours)
3. Name 10 tasks you absolutely hate doing in a job or day-to-day life.
(Tasks that sit on your to-do list forever, you dread doing, you want to pawn the task off on someone else)
4. Why do you want to leave / grow your current job or situation?
(List all the reasons you want out completely or to pivot)
5. What keeps you up at night?
6. What excites you about being an entrepreneur?
(Those things that you envy in other entrepreneurs. Create a list of the aspects you are drawn to. Once you've created your list I want you to go back to each aspect and ask yourself, honestly, 'why' do you want that? Would I be willing to do what they did to get there, money, time and sacrifices? We spend so much time comparing ourselves to others and wishing we had or could do what others are doing as they make it look so great. We often consciously think we want these things but when you dive down into it, are you really willing to do what they do to get there? If you answer 'no' to any of the aspects that is great! You have identified an aspect you authentically do not want, therefore it is someone else's dream not yours. If you answered 'yes' to any of these aspects those are goals that are authentic to you and something you want to work towards.)
7. How dedicated are you in making your dream a reality? What are you willing to sacrifice in order to get there?
(On a scale of 1 to 5 rate your dedication level, one being not dedicated or ready and five being ready to leap off the cliff. I want you to get a good sense about what you are willing to sacrifice in order to create your dream reality. How many hours a week are you willing to dedicate, what are you willing to sacrifice financially, time, socially, personally.)
8. Create a list of the top 5 people you spend most of your time with?
(You are most likely familiar with this idea that you are the average of the 5 -10 people you spend most of your time with. I want you to list them out and then ask yourself; Will they support me fully? Will they be there for me on my down days? Will they push me to grow and expand into this new chapter? Do they understand and resonate with what I am going through? Do they help me grow or keep me doing the same old habits that are holding you back? Be honest with yourself as this process will make it very clear, very quickly who will help you evolve into this next chapter. If you continue to be around the people who hold you back, keep you small and encourage you to participate in the same old shit you will continue to stay right where you are, so get honest with yourself.)
9. What is your business concept?
(What do you... do, make, create, offer, design)
10. Who do you do it for?
(Describe your ideal customer, client. Describe a day in their life, where they work, shop, do for fun, dress like, talk like, interests, hobbies, live, status...)
11. WHY do you do it?
(What is your why. What is the need / problem you are solving for the industry)
12. What is your financial situation?
(Do you have savings to fund this new venture or growth? Do you need to stay at your current job while working on your goals? Can you leap today because of a support system? If you need to save estimate how long it will take you to save up enough to leap.)
13. What is your overall business goal for the next 3 - 6 month?
(Make a list of all the goals you'd like to achieve over the next 3 - 6 months, if it is a larger goal break it down into smaller more achievable goals, how are you going to achieve these goals?)
14. What is your timeframe?
(Build out a timeframe of when you want your goal to become a reality and list how and what is needed in order for you to get there.)
I want you to narrow down one of your goals that you want to accomplish in the next week to 6-months. The goal can be big or small and professional or personal. If the goal is small it must be a stepping stone to your overall larger goal. I want you to get clear on your goal, how you are going to get there and set a deadline for it to be fully accomplished. I suggest telling someone else a family member or friend in order to feel real and hold you accountable to your promise.
The idea of this is to see how well you can stay dedicated to your goal and achieve what you desire. Consistency is key to succeeding in your goals, are you willing to show up everyday to take that one step closer to your dream reality.
If you feel like your above goals are so close you can almost reach them and you are fully committed to taking THE LEAP apply for our mentorship program here so we can kick things off and get you one day closer to making those goals a reality!
