From the moment our paths crossed I knew I needed more of her in my life, she is a living inspiration from her overnight success with her one of a kind art, her current multi faceted portfolio or maybe it was just how well ideas flowed through her during our last chat, I could barely keep up.
Randa is a wealth of knowledge in a variety of aspects and an inspiration to anyone who has multiple business ideas floating around in their head, take it from her- if you can dream it, you can create it. She is the founder of Ciel Creative Marketing Collective, a marketing and social media agency that does it all, trust me I asked! The founder of Shoppe Ciel a pop-up shop to discover emerging elevated brands, the co-founder of Hey Archive, Canada's largest consignment pop-up and still has time to blog under her personal brand.
Randa Salloum's Me Time Moment
1. Name, profession + how long have you been in your current profession?
My name is Randa Salloum and I am the Founder & Director for CIEL Creative Marketing, Co-Founder and CEO of ARCHIVE and a lifestyle blogger. I have been in marketing for 11 years.
2. What is your Astrological sign? What is your Human Design? (if you know it)
I am a Taurus and my Human Design is The Projector.
3. What is your cup of tea?
ME TIME - "I cherish my alone time + personal ritual"
4. Where did you grow up + what was your childhood like?
I was born and raised in Vancouver and my childhood was one of FUN! I feel very thankful to have grown up during a time before social media and truly being able to just be a kid. I feel like my entrepreneurial journey began when I was a toddler and I knew that there was something about me that was different. I had a hard time making friends in school and was severely bullied but had no shortage of friends outside of it. I changed elementary schools 5 times and it has allowed to me develop the ability to adapt. I was a very creative child! I painted my walls, furniture, doors a different colour every year and was always recreating my environment. I was provided experiences by my parents that I am very grateful for and growing up in a family of entrepreneurs influenced who I am today.

6. When do you believe your inner self journey began?
I believe it began when I was a child but I didn't realize it was happening until I was 27. It didn't truly unfold until now, at 32.
7. What was a pivotal Me Time Moment in your life?
In 2012, I started a line of artwork titled "I See Noise". It was a collection of handmade gold and silver foil prints. I was the first artist in Canada to create and sell them, at the time, and became an overnight sensation, selling worldwide. The business took off before I even knew it was moving and four years flew by so quickly. It was my full-time job from day one! I was very lucky to experience this type of success. Who knew that it would become a fulltime job? In 2014, I began to feel a disconnect between myself and my art and attempted to redesign the type of art that I was producing. Unfortunately, it did not resonate with my customers and other artists were popping up who offered something similar. I kept at it because I did not want to be seen as a failure. My art was everywhere. Every Tuesday evening, I produced my art to be shipped on Wednesdays and felt more resentment towards my art each time. I would push deadlines, miss or mix up orders. It wasn't until 2016 that I woke up one morning and decided enough is enough, I choose to be happy. I choose to end a career that had given me so many opportunities. I placed a "blowout sale" banner on the site and spent the last little bit of time to sell out my inventory. Anything that wasn't sold was taken down to the recycling bins in my building and let me tell you, what a feeling!! Tossing them into the bin took the weight off my shoulders. I finally created space in my life for the universe to provide me with more opportunities that aligned with my values and passions. It's okay to end something that has given you so much. There is more than enough opportunities for us out there, we just need to make the room to allow them in.
