Create a morning me time ritual with this delicious poached pear oat bowl, especially perfect for those colder months! This morning oats recipe is packed with fibre to keep your body nourished all day long, it contains probiotics to boost gut health and immunity, has lung cleansing properties and is infused with a blend of herbs that help reduce stress by relaxing the nervous system.

Poached Pear Instructions
- 2 tsp ME TIME Tea
- 1 tsp of honey
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 ripe bosc pear
Put the honey, cinnamon and ME TIME tea into a small pan big enough to hold the both pear halves. Half-fill the pan with water and bring to a boil. Once boiled, cover and simmer on low to infuse the water with the herbs and gently poach the pear for 30 minutes, or until soft.
Morning Oats Instruction
- 1 cup of rolled oats
- 1 cup of reserved tea-infused poached pear water, strained to remove excess herbs
- 1 cup of plant milk of choice
- Pinch of himalayan sea salt
Put the rolled oats into a medium pan, pour in the reserved tea-infused water, plant milk, add pinch of salt and place over high heat. Bring to a boil. Reduce to a low-medium heat and cook for 5-8 minutes, or until the oats reach your desired consistency. Remove from the heat.
Morning Oats Topping Instructions
2 tsp runny honey
4 tbsp plain coconut yogurt
2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
1 poached pear
Divide the cooked oats between 2 bowls. Top each bowl with ½ poached pear, spoon over the coconut yogurt, we love Yoggu Vanilla, sprinkle with the seeds and remaining cinnamon. Drizzle with honey and serve.
